B&N Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy

At B&N, we consider ethical work practices as the most important and non-negotiable component at any work place. We understand that we work with clients on solving complex business needs and aim at adding value to their performances. We take pride in delivering services of highest quality that result in adding value to our clients. While we deliver our services within the ambit of the law that are relevant to the place where the services are rendered, we do realize that the laws and regulations do not cover all ambits of professional behaviour. We thus have our own Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy, which we believe, enables us to guide our performances to the reach the zenith of Professional Excellence.

This document elaborates our code of conduct and ethics policy that is binding on all our employees and Partners.

  1. Work as 1 Team !
    We believe that working as one team helps us cross various hurdles that we come across in our professional life with ease. This will also help us to utilize our cumulative knowledge and experience so that we come up with the best possible solutions for our clients. The essential elements of team work are transparency, respect for each other, and effective sharing of risks and rewards.
  2. Do Not Compromise on quality
    We believe that our deliverables should be nothing short of perfection. We also strive to reflect this commitment towards quality on all our actions. This will enable us to uphold the name of our firm.
  3. Professional behavior
    All our professional services will be rendered in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We will also strive to work with only those clients whom we will be able to support within the ambit of law and our code of ethics.
  4. Independence
    We need to maintain our professional independence in order to ensure that our opinions/reports are free from bias of any sorts. In order to ensure this, we do not accept gifts of any sorts from our clients. In case a conflict of interest arises on any of the assignments, appropriate consultations are made with the senior partners, and a decision is taken by them.
  5. Dress code
    Whilst in office, we need to dress appropriately so as to not to adversely impact the work environment. Formals or business casuals are permitted within office premises. Whilst in client site, we need to comply with the dress code and regulations of the particular client, so as to not to disturb the work environment at their site.
  6. Transparency
    We believe in being transparent with our clients in all our actions. We meet our contractual obligations and report and charge honestly for our services. We also believe in being honest and transparent in all our dealings/actions within our firm.
  7. Confidentiality
    We respect the confidentiality and privacy of our clients, our people and others with whom we do business. We comply with applicable laws, regulations and professional standards in order to maintain the appropriate degree of confidentiality and privacy.
  8. Mutual respect
    We need to treat our colleagues, other members of our profession, and clients with respect and dignity. We need to also treat them fairly while transacting with them.
  9. Safety
    We are collectively and individually responsible to ensure the safety of our work environment. We believe in providing a safe working environment for all, especially for women, and also from a work environment that is free of all sorts of discrimination and harassments.
  10. Responsible behavior
    While representing our firm in a forum, we need to behave in a responsible and respectable manner, so as to uphold the name of our firm. We also need to ensure that we use all assets belong to the firm in a responsible manner and do not cause any harm/damage to any of the assets/reputation of the firm.
